We are excited to introduce the participants of the 2019/2020 Open Score program. The members will be working alongside Timepoint Ensemble throughout the 2019/2020 season both in shadowing and performance.

Chinley Hinacay SAXOPHONE
An accomplished young conductor and saxophonist, Chinley Hinacay is steadily making himself known throughout Western Canada. Earning degrees from the University of Calgary (M.Mus) and the University of British Columbia (B.Mus), Hinacay dedicates himself to cultivating the musical potential of Canada and raising awareness for the fine arts.
Patrick McIntosh Baritone
Patrick McIntosh is a baritone hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia where he completed his Bachelor of Music at Dalhousie University graduating in 2019. Patrick had the opportunity to travel to Italy to perform select scenes from Cavalli’s opera La Callisto through the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy (COSI). Additionally he has also had the opportunity to perform with the Long Reach Opera Workshop (LROW) in Toronto
Tayla Mapatac -
Flute
Tayla Mapatac is a current undergraduate of the University of Calgary, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Music. Located in Calgary, Alberta, she has worked to become a versatile member of the Calgary Arts Community as a performing flutist, arts administrator, and music educator.
James Watson -
Violin
James Watson is a fourth year music student at the University of Calgary. Playing violin since the age of 7. James has studied with Concertmaster Cvetozar Vutev of the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra and more recently with Joan Barrett through the University of Calgary.
Quinn Lippitt -
Trumpet
Trumpet player Quinn Lippitt established himself early on as a core member of his high school concert, jazz and honour bands. Additionally, he joined the World Champion Calgary Stampede Showband and performed with them for 2 years. He is currently enjoying his first year in the Bachelor of Music program at the University of Calgary.
